elby Virtual CloneDrive - Free ISO Mounting Utility For Vista

CloneDrive

CloneDrive is a simple ISO mounting utility that works great on Vista. I've tried MagicDisc, which would work once, but on reboot would gack...

CloneDrive has a simple interface (but right-click ISO mounting which is nice) and doesn't provide the copy protection spoofing others do, but that's okay as it has just the features I was looking.

If you're looking for a simple ISO mounting utility, you should check this one out.

Oh and by the way, it works for Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP too...

(And the Angry Sheep icon makes me laugh  ;)

Daemon-tools is also a free ISO mounting utility that works with Vista. I've used it for several years now, and it has never let me down. :-)

Good to know that Deamon works on Vista. I've also been a fan of their stuff for a long while...

Thanks for the tip!

I'd recommend Daemon Tools as well. I used the Angry Sheep and had to wipe out my system. It worked for a few days and then my cd drive disappeared as well as my virtual drive. Plus you have to define the virtual drive up front, and (correct me if I'm wrong) you can only mount one ISO at a time.

Just my opinion.

If you install Daemon Tools make sure not to install the included "search bar."
