This sounds like a cool plug-in and plug-in concept (i.e. easy posting to web site/service/api). My first thought was wow, how cool would a flicker/sharepoint be. Got to love the power of a plug-in api...

Looks to me like it could be modified to post to flickr in much the same way. Flickr is likewise famous for having an open api: http://www.flickr.com/services/api/
