[tools] Monoppix 1.0 is out
Monoppix 1.0 is now out (and downloading... slowly... now). If you want to play with Mono on Linux, this is a must have.
If you are using VPC, Jon has special instructions on how to start Knoppix in 16Bit color mode, instead of 24Bit which VPC doesn't support.

Download speed is a lot better now (under bittorrent - we had to disable the direct download). We got spoiled on the previous release with freecache.org - now that they've shut down, it's a lot harder to distribute hundreds of copies of an ISO in a day. Bittorrent takes a while to get seeded, but there are about 100 seeds now so it's not too bad.
ReplyDeleteWe've been offered an FTP mirror and are uploading it there now, but I don't know what kind of speed that will have.
Cool... I completely understand.
ReplyDeleteI mean, what do I want for free? My money back?
My download finished during the night, so I'm good. Now it's time to play (um... I mean this weekend it's time to play... yeah...).
