And it's reportedly now more like Firefox, but without the ability to extend or customize it. Read Is IE 7 Really Firefox Lite? by Preston Gralla.
ReplyDeleteSo far I like IE7. Even in a VPC guest OS it feels faster that IE6.
ReplyDeleteI like the new tab interface and simpler safety features.
As for extending and customizing IE, that's pretty much always been supported and there are a number of ways to do it (I have a ton of add-ins, extensions, etc for IE that work just fine...)
Anyway, it's nice to have IE under active development again...
I like IE and it's always done well for me. Is it perfect? No. Is Firefox perfect? No.
For me it's about what works for me and does what I need it to do. And IE fits that so far...
