Useful Technology Blog - Prevent people from hitting Reply to All
"Windows Rights Management Services provide some great features that control and restrict the way that information moves around and between organisations. But if you haven’t got this cool technology you can still disable the most abused feature in Outlook: the dreaded Reply to All button!
Next time you need to send out an email to a distribution list or lots of individual email addresses you can prevent recipients from pressing the Reply to All (and/or Forward) buttons and deluging everyone on your distribution list with even more unwanted emails. You can do this with custom forms and there’s a really neat tutorial here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/assistance/HA011142241033.aspx. Tell all your friends!" (Post Leached in Full)
Nice.
I am so going to have to pass this on (as I’m pretty tired of getting Reply All’s from emails sent to a few close friends... like those sent to everyone in the California office, or those few people who are in our US Practice, etc ;)
