Need a Hotfix from Microsoft, but don't want call them? Hotfixes are now available free via a web form...

STEFANO DEMILIANI - A quick way to obtain an hotfix

"Finally Microsoft has decided to help everyone of us to obtain an hotfix for a product in a quick manner: no more special requests or phone calls, now there's a single place where, simply by filling a web form, you can request the hotfix you want.

The link that makes the "miracle" is this:

https://support.microsoft.com/contactus2/emailcontact.aspx?scid=sw;en;1410&WS=hotfix

..."

Yep, that's right. You can now get a hotfix from Microsoft by simply filling out a web form and waiting for a download link to be emailed to you. All you need is the associated KB Article ID and an email address. Do please note that it's not an immediate turn-around, "...you should expect to receive a download link via email from Microsoft within 8 business hours. ..."

Nice.
