VS2008 has RTM'd and should be available for download from MSDN today...

Microsoft UK Developer Tools Team - Visual Studio 2008 Has RTM'ed!

BUT this may be a early or "jumped the gun" announcement, so take this with a grain of salt. MSDN Subscription Downloads is currently down, so I can't confirm it's available...

MSDN Subscribers Download is up (for me at least) and I'm downloading VS2008 now...  :)

MSDN Subscribers Download is now down again for me (and Scott too). I guess I got lucky and got in at just the right time... Glad I started the download then.  :) (15% downloaded of the 3.9GB of Team Suite).

    It is down for me as well. I'm getting a "Server too busy" error. Imagine that..heh.

    Well, I just got into MSDN downloads and VS 2008 is not in the list. They must have removed it due to the load on the system.

    Thanks for the heads up. I'm getting closer too... Each error seems to be getting "closer"

    So for why you're not seeing it. It may be a MSDN subscription level thing?

    The only version I saw on there was Team Suite, which requires the uber-MSDN Subscription (which I'm lucky enough that my work pays for for me)....

    The other versions (along with the TFS Server, etc) should hopefully be there soon'ish ...

    That might make sense, although we're Gold partners. I was under the impression that gave us uber subscription status. Never know though, management could be wrong.

    I'm back in, and all I see is VS2008 Team Suite...

    But there's this post that seems to show Data Dude is, or was, there too...

    I just got back in as well. It must be our subscription level as I do not see 2008 yet. Guess we'll just have to hold out for the Pro version.

    Well, it's finally downloading. It looks like MS decided to distribute it differently, presumably to handle the initial rush although that is just a guess.
