Using Task Scheduler as a cheap, quick and dirty Reminder service

groovyPost - Create Reminders in Windows 7 Without Outlook

If you’re required to use Outlook at work, you know how how user unfriendly it can be. You can use Task Scheduler in Windows to do the same thing. Here’s how to create reminder messages in Windows without Outlook or a third party program.

Note: This works in all versions of Windows – XP and higher.

Click Start and type: Task Scheduler. Hit Enter.

Is this something I'm going to use? Nope, doubt it. But that doesn't mean I don't think it's kind of neat. Got to love "system hacks"... lol. Now we just need an app to make making the Task Scheduler tasks easier (Oh, but that kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it... lol)
