Windows 8 To Go - A step by step setup guide...

TechNet Articles - Windows To Go Step by Step

Introduction
New to windows 8 is a feature called "Windows to go".
Windows to go allows you to run windows on USB device such as
USB stick or USB hard drive.

Table of Contents

Before you begin
  1. Have a USB 3.0 drive that reports as fixed.
    • Note: Most USB flash drives do not report as fixed and are not performant enough for Windows To Go
  2. Have a host system with Windows 8 client installed (should have two free drive letters, preferably S and W).
  3. A Windows 8 .wim file (can be from install media or a captured custom image).

I'm kind of hoping to find an easier, i.e. a click-click-click, means of setting up a Windows To Go USB stick, but in the mean time I've not seen any other guides yet, so this one currently wins... ;)
