Microsoft Broadcaster is an invitation-only program, where qualified bloggers are invited to join and get access to select content from Microsoft to use in their blogs, sites and newsletters as long as they comply with the Terms of Use. Access to relevant, current content enables a richer experience on the blogs or websites and potentially higher repeat traffic due to higher quality content across various form factors like webcasts, podcasts, videos, white papers.

At this point in time the program is primarily open for applications from the following, and final acceptance is at Microsoft’s sole discretion:

  • IT associations, Developer associations and user group communication
  • IT and Developer focused newsletter publishers.

At this point in time the program is designed for active bloggers; however, we have some great resources you can access for you use the resources on microsoft.com.

5. I am a Microsoft Partner, MVP, MCP does it automatically pre-qualify me?

If you have an active blog that meets the criteria listed above you can apply to join the program. Please contact your respective program manager or contact us via tnplus@microsoft.com with any questions.

6. I live outside the US – Can I still join?

Interesting. As a re-blogger (err… I mean a “Web Curator”… ;) I’m always on the lookout for more cool stuff. Microsoft Broadcaster seems like something that might be cool.

Matter of fact, since I configured by interests/keywords this morning, it already helped me by delivering an entry (the “Silverlight TV 26: Exposing SOAP, OData, and JSON Endpoints for RIA Services”) for me to add to the ODataPrimer site. :)

But I think I’m going to have to trim down my keywords though (215 pages of entries! Yeah, a little much even for me… LOL )
