“Microsoft officials wouldn’t say a month ago whether the actual Silverlight 3 bits would be available by the day of the official launch, which is July 10. But it turns out they are available a day earlier.
Those interested in the latest version of Microsoft’s Flash competitor can download it from Microsoft’s Web site. Here’s where to get the Silverlight 3 bits.

And there's been enough changes to the namespaces, assemblies, etc. to make it worth your while to wait until it's all out. My big SL3 (beta) project won't compile under the new bits, and I can't yet figger out where they put all the stuff I need :-).
Mine SL3 (beta) app won't compile under the new bits either. I'm getting a circular dependency involving target "GetXapOutputFIle".
