This download package installs only on computers that are running Windows 8 Enterprise or the full-GUI installation option of Windows Server 2012. [GD:Emphasis Added]
IMPORTANT: Uninstall any other versions or copies of the Utilities and SDK for SUA before you install the Windows 8 Utilities and SDK for SUA. If you are currently running the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 release of the Utilities and SDK for SUA on your Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 system, uninstall it to prepare for the Windows 8 Utilities and SDK for SUA.
I had thought SUA was being killed and wouldn't appear for Windows 8. Must be the NEXT version of Windows where we're not going to see it?
I had to laugh when I downloaded the AMD64 version and got IE's BRXS (Big Red X Shield). Doh!
Anyway, so saw the bold above? This is for Enterprises... (which have access to SUA, which the Utilities and SDK's, logically, have a dependency on...)
I'm running Win8 Pro and tried to install this anyway. No joy.
Of course Win8 Pro doesn't have the SUA option, so can't install these Utilities and SDK. :( But I guess that makes sense. This really is a business/enterprise kind of capability... Still as a "Professional" I would have liked to have access to these as there's times I could really use SUA and these utilities (cough... handling some long path files... cough)
