Free Skype to Phone/POTS/Landline Calls for the Rest of the Year (US/Canada)
"Calls to friends and family on Skype have always been free. Now we’ve made calls within the US and Canada to all phones totally free till the end of the year.
Starting from today it doesn’t matter if it’s a Skype-to-Skype call or a call to landline or mobile phone - it’s free as long as you’re calling from within the US or Canada to US or Canadian phone number. "
This email just came in... Now that’s pretty cool. Sure is one way to get people hooked and pick up market share.
Now what will MS do with the Live Call in WLM?

Nah, anything that's within North America only will never be cool, it's been done too many times before. Now if they allowed me to use Skype from Europe to call my friends and family in Australia for free - that would be cool. (Actually, that would be VoipStunt http://www.voipstunt.com/)
